Seaco SRL is one of the largest container leasing companies in the industry with an international reputation for manufacturing quality and innovation.
First established as Sea Containers (SCL) in the 1960s, it amalgamated with Genstar (the former container leasing arm of General Electric) in 1998 and was acquired under HNA in 2011.A further acquisition in 2015 combined Seaco with Cronos, since then Seaco has continued to grow and now has over more than 4 million twenty-foot equivalent unit containers and assets of close to US $6.5 billion.
Seaco currently provides a full range of container leasing services for more than 750 clients worldwide. Seaco also has an independent global depot network, with more than 172 port locations across 47 countries, allowing Seaco to offer assorted equipment to their customers when and where it is needed. Seaco also has relationships with 352 third-party depots around the world to inspect, repair, maintain and store containers while off-hire. Seaco’s large, diverse, in-demand and modern container fleet has an average age of 6.44 years.
