Oct 10th , Bohai Capital reached the agreement of merge the aircraft leasing business of CIT group (referred as C2) through Bohai’s subcompany Avolon.By the end of Jun 30th, C2 totally owned assets of $ 11.1 billion. According to the report from Ascend, C2 will become the world’s fifth largest aircrafts lessor after its recombine.After integrated C2, Avolon’s aircrafts fleet will exceed 900, which valued over $43 billion and become the 3rd largest leasing aircrafts fleet in the world with the youngest average plane age in the top 3 fleets.Avolon achieved a great increase after joined Bohai in the early this year. By the end of Jun 30 2016, there are 443 aircrafts in Avolon’s fleet, which reached a 70% year-on-year growth.Bohai devotes itself to become the leader in every field of traffic finance service, the M&A of Avolon in 2015 was a key step to realize our strategy. The integration of C2 will actually make Bohai the true leader in world aircrafts leasing business.
